It has been quite a productive week, in an unexpected sort of way. A lot has been happening, like exploring career avenues I never thought I’d have the opportunity to do, meeting new people, making friends & learning new things as I go along… For once, I actually didn’t feel like the week went by fast… =)

This Week’s Hits are:

- Fall. I never thought I’d say this, but surprisingly, I find myself kinda, sorta, maybe… almost… enjoying the fall weather. Don’t get me wrong, I am most definitely missing the warm sunshine rays & the blue skies, but I found myself enjoying all the beautiful colors and the leaves all over the trees & on the ground during my morning walks. This year, I am feeling a bit differently about the whole Fall weather thing…I am embarking on these new emotional territories of finding the Fall weather actually enjoyable. The soft rain & the pretty colors are quite soothing and are making me feel all warm & fuzzy inside… I find it very interesting, because I’ve never enjoyed this time of the year before… Go figure… =)

- The power we all have. I am talking about the kind of power that is unfortunately unknown or unused by most people. It is the power of deliberately creating the kind of life we want for ourselves. Without getting into the details of what happened exactly, the events of this past week proved to me, yet again, of how very important it is to ASK the universe for precisely, and I mean exactly what you want. Make it loud & make it clear. Say it. Declare it. Ask for it. And the Universe will deliver… But be careful, to be VERY specific with what you ask for, because if you don’t specify exactly what you want, then you might end up with something close to your original desire, which is pretty magical and pretty good already if you ask me. However, the beauty of these amazing Universal Laws is that once you get it, and start practicing them and testing them out on your own life, you get surprised & awestruck at first at the magic of it all. And then, after it happens to you for a few times, when you asked, believed with all of your being that you deserve to have it and that you will get it, and you receive it, you just smile, look up & wink to the Universe with a knowing smile, and say a silent “Thank You”. The attitude of gratitude is a very important part in all of this… If you can’t or won’t be grateful for what you already have, chances are even that will be taken away from you, until you learn to appreciate everything that is already in your life. The good, the bad & the ugly… =)

This Week’s Misses are:

- Slow drying Nail Polish… I mean seriously with everything that we have achieved as a society from sending people to Space, building robots, cloning humans etc, why can’t we come up with a better, more efficient and faster way of getting the nail polish to dry? I realize this is obviously not a very big problem in the grand scheme of things, but really? It is 21st Century, and we still have to wait like 5-10 minutes for nail polish to dry… And the silly me that I am, I somehow always end up putting my nail polish right before I go to sleep, and I never learn my lesson. Of course, even if I waited like 1/2 an hour, I still make up with sheet marks on the nails, and it used to drive me crazy. Did you catch that? I used past tense.

After doing a bit of research I found a really great product called, Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat and thanks to it I don’t get frustrated anymore. It’s this clear top coat that you apply to almost wet nails, and even the thickest of nail-polishes (like the darker colors ladies, I am sure you know what I mean here) literally dries in like 2-3 minutes. So yay! for me! But I still wonder why do I have to go out and get an extra product to put on, why can’t that magic formula be built right into the nail polish… Right? Anybody agree with me?

Hi Leyla, I have found that fall is one of my favorite seasons. It makes my brain slow down and become peaceful. Things smell, look and taste differently to me. Allows me to evaluate my environment to make sure it is a healthy one and should be maintained in it’s current state… because during this season the air becomes crisp; my walk is lighter; not weighed down by humidity (summer), no bitter opression (winter) not fast-paced and super energetic from new birth (spring)… This season reminds me to observe … and prepare. I’m actually at a more awaken state… and very grounded. I find pleasure & grattitude in every season; but I do prefer Autumn the best… I”m glad you are finding a safe place in it as well… ……….Also,
I agree with the ole saying “becareful what you wish for…” Definately be a specific as possible when asking for a gift from the universe…
