What a busy week it has been… I apologize to you my lovely readers for only posting a few times on the blog this week. It all comes down to finding balance and working productively within a tight schedule. Which to me is a constant work in progress game…
This Week’s Hits are:
- Canadian Government. Yes you heard me right. =) I feel so blessed & lucky to live in such a beautiful country. A country where its government has some amazing programs in place for different kinds of people. In my case, I am grateful for the Self-Employment Benefits Program (SEB). For those of you who might not be familiar with it, check out this link. If you’ve always wanted to start your own business and don’t know where to start, you should definitely check it out and see if you qualify. I just think it is amazing that there is a program in place that trains & coaches people, as well as helps financially for the 1st year of one’s business. Very cool! I’ve never had the ‘employee-mindset’ and having spent the past week in the SEB workshops, made me even more sure in my decision to become an entrepreneur! I can’t wait to start the program & get my business rolling! =)

- Cats. This weekend I got the pleasure of meeting & playing with a beautiful kitty named Nikki, and it made me miss my Mishka so much! But at the same time, made me so excited about adopting a new kitty into our family in the hear future. Cats are just so awesome! They’re gracious, independent, loving & caring creatures… The kind of unconditional love that you share with a pet is not compared to any other kind of love. I can’t wait to bring home a new kitten – we’re waiting for the New Year… and I can hardly wait!! =)

This Week’s Misses are:
- Bye-bye Summer! Yup… as much as I am in denial… I cannot help but notice that the leaves are turning yellow/orange, and the sun is hiding under the mean clouds and of course that tomorrow is the official last day of Summer =(… I am so sad, I can cry… I’m telling you people, I think I am the first person on the planet that is actually allergic to cold! Every time I go outside when it’s cold, I get a stomachache.. Is that normal? Does anybody else get that too? As much as I appreciate the beautiful colours of Fall, and the fairy-tale like streets at night in the Winter, I still would trade all that for a sunny day at the beach any day!!
You are not even gone yet, and I miss you already Summer! Come back soon! =(

- Fear of Public Speaking. As much as I am comfortable and confident speaking with strangers one-on-one, I hate to admit that I still get butterflies and racing heart-beat when I know I have to speak in front of a large audience. I really dislike that feeling & know it is something I have to get rid off. And of course, the only way to better at something is to practice it. It is just so silly, because logically I know there is nothing to be scared of, but for some reason my body reacts to it differently, so I have to align my body with my mind and the world will be a happy place again!
