Hi Lel,
I know exactly what you mean. I have a bit of a different problem, when I introduce two people that I know that just met I sometimes forget one of their names, even know I know them! lol It's quite embarrassing!

Hey Leyla! I definitely don't miss the snow now that I live in LA! I love that voicemail greeting- soo funny! I improved at remembering people's names after having to for sorority recruitment. I don't really have any tips- I think I just got used to having to know girls' names and just looking them in the eye and repeating their names in my head so that I remembered them! xo, Mel

I agree that times seems to fly faster as you get older:) I feel the same way.

My children haven't seen real snow yet. It's a rare treat, or should I say a non-existent "treat" where we live in California. They've seen fake snow and they had blast rolling in it. Poor kids:)

Ahh, remembering people's names:) Maybe you should carry a small notepad with you and every time you are introduced so somebody, quickly and slyly write down the name of the person as soon as you hear it:)) But also write a short description next to the name, such as where you met him/her, how he looked at etc:to remember easier:)

My problem is the opposite. I am terrible at recognizing faces. It's embarrassing. My brain doesn't register faces for some odd reasons no matter how much time I spent with that person the first time. It is terrible! Any tricks to cure this?:)

Leyla, oh my god, i completely understand you about not remembering the names of people when u first meet them! ONLY when i make a mental note that says "REMEMBER THE NAME", i can actually remember it. But its really hard to do even if you are completely aware of the situation!
Cant wait to see you,
xoxo

This is a great post! Lack of the snow is definitely a bonus. I totally agree on drivers not being able to drive when it snows. I also will add that it happens when it starts raining as well. I am not sure why people cant get used to it. After all winter in Canada does last forever well almost :).

I have the same problem with recalling the names or faces actually. I was always fascinated how teachers had such a good memory and knew every student :)
