I think that dancing is one of the best social activities of the modern age; one that establishes mastery and self efficacy, one that is healthy and entertaining on a mind-soul-body axis, and an outlet for many negative feelings or energies. I have been dancing for over 18 years now and believe it or not I started with POP and RAP.. yes RAP.. like MC Hammer stuff... Can't touch this :) Although I laugh at it now, I still think of it as an early motivation and a true passion that helped me to stay healthy and keep in shape.
