I do think that sometimes thats those little gestures/comments make people more happy. One time I had an informal casual interview at a certain company and the lady was saying the nicest things about my resume and how she would hire me on the spot if they werent on a freeze and she was just impressed with me... and that made me blush a little because you are not used to hearing those things very often from potential employers on the spot.
